Champions day celebrations of St. Claret English Medium School, Chimur

On January 25, 2025, St. Claret English Medium School, Chimur, celebrated a momentous occasion by proudly announcing the champions of the current academic year. The highly anticipated event was held during the school’s regular class assembly, starting promptly at 8:45 AM. The assembly commenced with the usual programs, setting the stage for the eagerly awaited awards ceremony.

The first set of awards presented was for the school's art competitions. The title of School Art Champion was awarded to Manaswi Hattwar, a talented student from Class 7, Jasmine. Manaswi’s artistic prowess and dedication to the arts were highlighted as she was recognized for her exceptional performances across various competitions. Her creativity and passion for the arts made her stand out among her peers, earning her this well-deserved recognition.

The next highly anticipated announcement was for the title of School Sports Champion. This title was awarded to Sruthi Agade, a remarkable athlete from Class 9, Rose. Sruthi's outstanding athletic abilities and consistent performances over the past three years earned her this prestigious title for the third consecutive year. Her dedication to sports and her unwavering commitment to excellence were celebrated as she was congratulated with much enthusiasm.

Following these individual awards, the group champions were revealed, marking the culmination of the event. The school Principal, Rev. Fr. Robin Paul CMF, began the announcement with the fourth-place winner: the Red Group. Although they did not secure the top spot, the Red Group’s efforts and spirit were recognized with warm applause. Next, the Yellow Group was announced in third place, followed by the Blue Group in second. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the Principal declared the Green Group as the champions of the academic year. The Green Group’s consistent efforts, teamwork, and determination had paid off, earning them the coveted first place.

Each group took to the stage one by one to receive their trophies, which were presented by the esteemed school administrator, Rev. Fr. Danish John.
