On December 24, 2024, St. Claret English Medium School hosted a heartwarming joint celebration of Grandparents' Day and Christmas, creating a memorable event filled with joy, gratitude, and togetherness.
The celebration began with a Christmas Prayer Dance, setting a serene and festive tone for the day. Our Principal, Rev. Fr. Robin Paul, extended a warm welcome to everyone, followed by an inspiring Christmas message by Rev. Fr. Jijo Jose, emphasizing the values of kindness, generosity, and unity that Christmas represents also he shared about the importance of grandparents and their involvement in the growing process of each and every child.
A special highlight of the event was the honoring of grandparents, who play an irreplaceable role as the pillars of wisdom and love in every family. The grandparents of nursery students were honored with shawls, symbolizing the school’s respect and gratitude for their invaluable contributions to their families and society.
The day also included a heartwarming performance by the students of Tukdoji Maharaj Deaf and Dumb School, Chimur, showcasing their talent and spirit. The school shared the joy of Christmas with them by presenting gifts, making the event even more inclusive and meaningful. Also there was the distribution of prizes for the Christmas decoration competition that was organized in the class level.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of Christmas cake and a joyful agape, where students, teachers, grandparents, and guests shared a meal together, fostering a sense of unity and love.
