On August 15, 2024, St. Claret School hosted a vibrant Independence Day celebration that showcased both national pride and academic success. The event, which began at 7:30 AM, was graced by the esteemed Mr. TR Mahale KP the Cluster head of the Department of Education, Chimur alongside the school Management and a spirited community of students their parents and family members.
The day’s festivities kicked off with an energetic performance by the school band, setting an upbeat tone for the flag hoisting ceremony. This was followed by a series of engaging performances, including a patriotic dance by 9th grade and 7th grade students and a traditional song by KG students, who delighted the audience dressed as notable historical figures.
Fr. Jijo Jose, the Manager of St. Claret School, delivered a thoughtful address on the significance of Independence Day, emphasizing the values of freedom and patriotism. Mr. Mahale KP’s speech further highlighted the importance of the day’s principles.
