On August 15, 2024, St. Claret School hosted a vibrant Independence Day celebration that showcased both national pride and academic success. The event, which began at 7:30 AM, was graced by the esteemed Mr. TR Mahale KP  the Cluster head  of the Department of Education, Chimur alongside the school Management and a spirited community of students their parents and family members.

The day’s festivities kicked off with an energetic performance by the school band, setting an upbeat tone for the flag hoisting ceremony. This was followed by a series of engaging performances, including a patriotic dance by 9th grade and 7th grade   students and a traditional song by KG students, who delighted the audience dressed as notable historical figures.

Fr. Jijo Jose, the Manager of St. Claret School, delivered a thoughtful address on the significance of Independence Day, emphasizing the values of freedom and patriotism. Mr. Mahale  KP’s speech further highlighted the importance of the day’s principles.

Adding to the day's significance, the school also took the opportunity to honor the achievements of the previous  tenth batch. The celebration included the distribution of momentous to each graduate, recognizing their successful completion of exams. Principal Fr. Robin Paul extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students, commending their hard work and contributions to the school community.

A particularly memorable moment was the meticulously organized march past, a cherished tradition of the school's Independence Day celebrations. The event concluded with a dynamic patriotic flash mob performed by a group of students, captivating the audience and leaving a lasting impression.

The entire school community embraced the spirit of Independence Day, evident in the special dress code adopted by both teachers and students. Fr. Robin Paul expressed gratitude to parents, teachers, and students for their enthusiastic participation, making the day a fitting tribute to the nation's values and the success of the tenth batch.
