Claretine’s vision with clean India Mission

The cleanliness drive Class was conducted on 1st of October in our school in collaboration with Tehsil office chimur, under the initiative of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched by the Government of India to promote cleanliness and hygiene among citizens. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness and to encourage them to maintain a clean environment in and around the school premises.

The program began with a brief introduction highlighting the vision of Mahatma Gandhi towards a clean and healthy India. Students were shown informative videos and posters related to the Swachh Bharat Mission. An interactive discussion followed, where students shared their ideas on how they could contribute to keeping their surroundings clean.

A cleanliness drive was organized within the school campus. Students actively participated in cleaning their classrooms, school corridors, and playground. Teachers guided and motivated them throughout the activity, emphasizing the values of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.

The Swachh Bharat programme proved to be a meaningful and educational activity. It successfully spread the message of cleanliness, hygiene, and civic sense among the students, encouraging them to become responsible citizens of a clean and green India.
